Have you already settled on the time period for your campaign? In The
Fortunate Succession there are several "interesting times" as the Chinese
might put it. The Carmanian March, "We Hate Darjiin Usurpers", the reign of
Elmexdros the Conqueror, the reign of Elmharsnik(fighting Aldryami), after the
Moon rises there is the Dara Happan rebellion against the New Moon, the war
with Sheng Seleris, etc.
