Michael Cule disclarifies something that I perhaps only thought I understood:
> The characters don't have a level of mastery (excpect for the idiotic 'free'
> level of mastery they get by virtue of being PCs over 'ordinary folks')
I'm reconfused, then. This _is_ the level at which the demo game
characters were at, right?, and they represented, as I understood it,
"rune level" types (in very broad terms). Nick, Shannon, when you
say starting characters don't have a level of mastery, do you mean
"except for the idiotic 'free' level of mastery they get by virtue
of being PCs (sic), of course, which goes without saying", or do you
mean "No, they don't, none at all, none whatsoever"?
Your collective pardon for my being so anal about this, but genuine
confusion seems to prevail, here. (At least within the confines of
my cerebrum.)
Slainte,
Alex.
