Here's an example of Identical gods having the same name in different
regions:
Once there was a campaign with loads of Yelmalio worshippers.
Along comes a Greg and tells us that Elmal is what they worshipped.
"Bugger, " says the GM, and trying to keep as close to the cannon as he
can, he defines the two deities as the same God with different names.
"Thank fuck for that!" Say the players, "Everything is not totally to
cock!"
