air, fire, water and darkness. This certainly seems to be reflected in the
spirits that they have (see the articles in TotRM #14-16).
Haruspicy (entrail-reading) seems particularly appropriate, IMO. If that's
not suitable for what you have in mind, perhaps they throw pebbles carved with
different runes or spirit names and interpret predictions based on the
relative positions they land in. They also probably regard a whole range of
apparently mundane occurences as good or bad omens - quite possibly with some
justification, this being Glorantha.
