I've often wondered about the relationship between voralans
and aldryami.
Surely to living, healthy plants fungi are nothing but a
menace. A large number of plant diseases are fungal
compared to a few beneficial plant-fungi relationships.
Do fungi play an important role in Gloranthan ecosystems
returning nutrients etc?
Given that most people are of the opinion that Glorantha
acts like the real world unless stated otherwise so we can
assume yes. However do the aldryami actually realise this?
Things that feed on your dead are normally held in disgust,
but that may be putting a too human view on it.
