There are two main populations of Ducks. The first are the Ducks
of Dragon Pass whereas the second are Keets who live in the Eastern
Isles. The Keets include avian species other than ducks, such as
parrots.

The Ducks live in and around the Upland Marsh where they make a
living as fishers and petty-criminals. The Keets are a more
civilized breed (but still fishers) and their neighbours can
actually say something nice about them without thinking deeply.

The Ducks of Dragon Pass worship Orlanthi Pantheon while the
Keets worship the Eastern Pantheon, which is heavily into
mysticism.

>Whom do they serve or do they stand alone?

The Ducks used to be part of the Kingdom of Sartar but are now
hunted by Sartarites under a Lunar-sponsored pogrom (The General
who ordered it was having a bad day). They hide out in the
Upland Marsh and the Beast Valley where there are few humans.

The Keets are spread throughout many Eastern Isles. Most Keets
live alongside humans while some isles are mostly Keets.
