Thanks dude, ditto of course.

>Regardless of all that, I dislike the concept behind a character like
Onslaught.

Okay, what _is_ the concept behind Onslaught? I can say that he's
definately NOT an incarnation of the god killing AD&D powerplayer
character, although, like most RPers, I was one of those in my teens. Now
I'm thirty and have less spots, this isn't my motivation behind the
character.

Fair enough, although if you've never seen me run him as an NPC, then you
really can't know how he plays. But I take your point.

>I also get the feeling that Martin likes to pull Onslaught out of his
sheath on occasion

people up. After >all, negative attention is usually better than no
attention at all.

In some senses, yes. On the other hand, I've had a lot of positive
comments too and that can't be bad.

>Now all we need to really round things out is a return to the "kill
Onslaught off" thread >from a while back.

Naa, I've already killed him in "The Terrible Tale of Sir Death" so the
door would be shut on a long bolted horse!

>PS to Martin: I owe you a pint at the next con we both attend.

Good on you sir!
