That's correct but in glorantha, the rational perspective is
associated with the west, just as mystics are found in the
east. Hence native Kralori traditions are mystically orientated.
Darudists still act like Confucians in practice, it's just that
their reasons for doing so are different.

The east does have much sky worship but it's really secondary
to Eastern Mysticism. Sky worship in Kralorela is thought to
begin with the Phoenix Emperor Metsyla whereas Teshnan fire
worship began in the Great Darkness. I don't know much about
sky worship in Vormain or the East Isles but I do think that
such worship is really a dumbed-down version of mystical truths.

Patanaji wrote the _Yoga Sutra_, which gave a philosophical
basis to yogic practices.
