A quick plea to anyone else going to Convulsion: I'm after the use of a
PC while I'm there.
You see, it's been suggested that it might be nice if I took a copy of the
Virtual Pavis that's on my web site, and let people play with it locally,
rather than on-line. This should be a great deal faster, we hope, and of
course there are still people in the world who don't have Internet access
at all.
The trouble is, my own laptop is hopelessly inadequate for the job.
Virtual reality, complete with textured ground and buildings, takes pretty
good graphics, and my 800*600*256 screen doesn't stand a chance.
So if anyone has a really fancy laptop and wants to show it off.....
please?
