Finally back on the 'net...

At last BT have hand reeled an ISDN cable down to Weymouth and I'm back
online. What do I find?

David Dunham:

"it [HW] was *proofed*. And it was, which is why there are no pages upside
down in the printed books (the printer *did* get this wrong and it had to be
sent back -- this delay contributed to the various problems)."

Perchance did Issaries hire the Keystone Printers to do their printing? I
get the impression that everyone runs about hitting each other with printing
plates, sloshing ink about and hanging off packed delivery vans spilling
rules everywhere.

Oh, and while HW looks like a total cock up on the continuity front,
"Glorantha, intro to HW" is one of the best game related publications I've
seen in years and is sitting alongside other classics such as
"Civilisation", "Squad Leader", "RuneQuest", "Aftermath", "The Traveller
Adventure", "En Garde", "The Awful Green Things", "GURPS", "Illuminati",
"Laws of the Night" and "Magick the Addiction."

I would add KoDP to the list, but computers are for poofs. Never catch me
using one - this email was actually sent by carrier pigeon after being
inscribed by a quill pen. Thanks to the gnome that transcribed it.
