I wouldn't think of them as Grandpa as most humans would
conceive of an ancestor as being. Instead an elf IMO
considers a Sacred Oak or a Stump of the World Tree to
be his ancestor, in the sense of "from that tree came
this part of the woods", tree-hugging in other words.
