Argan Argar and criminals

A thought that has occurred to me...could Argan Argar possibly be a
patron of certain types of criminals?

I hope I dont shock anyone by professing that, fundamentally, most
forms of "crime" are simply manifestations ofn "commerce", simply
forms that contravene the local legal Powers that Be. I think, also,
that most people would acknowledge that these tranasactions tend to
take place discretely, often by necessity at night.

Could this been considered to fall under Argan Argar's purview? A
troll deity could be counted upon to have little respect for human
laws and mandates. Furthermore, the powers of Darkness would be very
useful to criminal enterprise, especially to avoid the notice of
authorities.

My own interpretation would be that certain types of criminals,
smugglers in particular, might worship Argan Argar as their patron,
especially in areas where trolls are traded with. However, murderers
and thieves would most likely be excluded , though perhaps dealing in
stolen goods would not. Gambling also might fall under AA's favor,
due to it's innate association with coinage.

These questions have been brought on by the interests and ambitions
of one of my PCs in my HW game, so I am anxious for any feedback you
might have.

  The roster is out? w00h00!!
