IMO is fundamentally what a (Heortling) bloodline is _for_...
Rumours that they have leaders, own communal property, etc,
are hotly denied here in Elkenval. ;-)

Still problematic, IMO. Doing this for oneself requires
identification with the appropriate deity, rather than simply
sacrifice to him, which is how 'pantheon' worship basically
works. Indeed, if you're devoted to a different deity, it's
not merely difficult, it risks weakening your own identification.
(An Orlanth the Warrior type may be able to rationalise himself
as acting as Orlanth Deathwielder, or some such, if that
tradition is available to him.)
