I'm crushed. Obviously if it's an eiswein, all my protestations
that non-coastal areas of western mainland Europe are viable climatic
analogues for Sartar are completely dashed.
(It would be more accurate to say that the grapes have to freeze
for it to be an icewine, not for the wine to be 'good', btw. I
doubt that anything like the entire crop is utilised in that way, for
various
reasons.)
