Look at the Glorantha:Intro p90-96 where the Lunars are described as a distinct people. At the same time, it says:

         "Most Lunars continue to identify with their mother culture and
         to participate in the local rites and live as the locals do.  Thus
         a Lunar from Raibanth is still considered to be Dara Happan.
                                 G:I p91.
