digest format

So what exactly has been the point of all this digest format discussion? It seems to have dragged on for quite a few digests though I haven't figured out how it started or why. It must of started back before I (re-)subscribed or pretty close (or maybe I just missed the initial post.) In any case it seems to be OT and taking a huge amount of BW, does it not?

The Digest used to function just fine and then apparently it moved (as it stopped coming) and it's taken me this long to find my way back. I expect it will function just fine at this new address - I don't see any need for change (whatever is that change anyhow?) or what anyone has to complain about.
