Since someone mentioned some books in regard to the movies theme, I thought I'd toss in my two cents and recommend "Stonehenge" by Bernard Cornwell. The book is by no means flawless, but it has a very good sense of a world where the ancestors and the spirits are all about. I'm having everyone in my group read it.
