For me, I found Harry Turtledove's "Fox" series ('Werenight', 'Prince of the North,' 'King of the North,' 'Fox and Empire'--all recently reprinted two per volume, but I forget the collection titles) reminded me of RQ era glorantha. The bronze age culture, the strong presence of the gods but in a somewhat mechanistic rather than mystical way, and so on. The situation isn't much like Sartar though.             Received on Thu 26 Jul 2001 - 14:24:03 EEST
