There are also elephants in Pamaltela; several varieties live in Umathela and Fonrit (see Enclosure 2). My favorite is the shovel-tusker (platybelodon).

How do you get to Pamaltela? I know you've played King of Dragon Pass. You can very easily interpret the Lhankor Mhy heroquest as taking a trip to the southern continent.
