Hmmm, or just to make the significance less clear (because, you know, there are just sooooo few mysteries in Glorantha *grin*), it wasn't like that before the dragonkill, and "we found it that way" when the Tarshites re-settled the land. Did attacking dragonfire perfectly transform the walls without destroying any portion? Or did the dragonnewts do something to it while all the humans were gone, and if they did, why? And for that matter, is it part of something that hasn't seen its conclusion yet......
