You forgot to mention our impromptu 'Hide the Cow' competition, popular with Finovans because of its similarity to cattle raiding.

Requires: a small number of cows for each contestant, a hunter (probably an Odaylan), and a suitable area of terrain.

The contestants attempt to herd their cows through the designated area to the finish line. Some time after they leave the starting line, the hunter attempts to track the contestants. A contestant is eliminated if the hunter manages to catch up with him. The winner is the first to cross the line.

Contestants can try to drive their cows quickly, hoping to out run the hunter, or cover their tracks and keep to cover, but advance more slowly.             Received on Thu 16 Aug 2001 - 08:26:33 EEST
