I tend to reserve Woad for war-paint and rituals. But then, the most important rituals are for the crops, herds and rain. Raiding is "merely" recreation. War is more serious business. But I like the mental image too and will be using it as well as the Hidden Glen Clan slowly gets more involved in the Rebellion.
