I suppose I should have asked what the starting level of the affinties and abilties was.

You must have started at a *much* lower level for keywords than the standard one as most characters will have at least a 5w and 2 1w's to their name. (And after 20 sessions, they'd have about 30 hp to play with)...

...I'm starting to suspect that the rate of character advancement/climb is lower than expected but I'll wait for more data.
