I recall reading in a fanzine several years ago now where the editor had been mucking about with a friend who was a "Treasure Trap" participant (Treasure Trap was one of the first LARP setups in the UK).
The editor said he had never tried using 2 weapons before, and was surprised how much advantage he felt he gained using Sword and Hand Axe over just using Sword alone...
So I guess allowing the "second weapon" to add a defensive edge against melee (but not missile) weapons is not unreasonable... Received on Fri 02 Mar 2001 - 02:24:38 EET
