If I remember correctly, somewhere is KoS it says that a god (Orlanth I think (I hope :-)) was 'only cut up into 49 pieces and so survived because there was one piece left'. If so, there may be an exact number of pieces that a god needs to be defenestrated into in order not to reform on its own. 49 (or 50) heroquests to get all the parts would be mighty awesome!
