Subject: Yelmalian Tactics

As far as I can see the mix of Yelmalian weapons and capacity most closely approximates Greece at the time of it's conquest by Alexander (but with greater emphasis on bows) rather than ancient celts / scythians / homeric period greeks.

The Sun Dome Templars are true phalangites (in the manner of Alexanders Macedonian veterans), armed with pike and well drilled, while other Yelmalians are more like the hoplites who can range from irregular bodies of armoured citizen foot (such as Lydians with spear and javelin) to drilled regulars (such as Spartans), but without the special formations / depth of phalangites.

The hill barbarian Yelmalians are more like the Illyrian enemies of Alexander, with lightly armoured spearmen fighting in rough terrain, who should be capable of ambushing with a hail of thrown javelins (or bows).
