Lewis's Broo Grass
>Broo Grass (aka Ratslaff's Curse, Disorder Daisy and Bitter-Pretty)
This reminds me a bit of a type of plant we have here in Australia. In the more fertile areas, it's called Patterson's Curse, as it is a weed and animals can get sick eating it (though just who "Patterson" was eludes me just now). However, in the more marginal areas, and in times of drought, it is called "Salvation Jane" as it is often the only plant hardy enough to survive and stock can live on it until the drought breaks. (Again, I don't know who "Jane" was).
