I'd like to announce with some reget that I won't be organizing a RuneQuest-Con in 1996. School, and a few other things, will prevent me from putting forth that kind of effort again so soon.
I hope that someone will step forward and volunteer. Ideally, you should have some previous experience organizing gaming cons. But the world isn't ideal, so take this as you will. I don't feel that I have any kind of veto power over anyone who wants to step forward, so please do so if you think you've got what it takes.
I will give modest aid as I can, but any potential RQ Evangelists should expect that they and their con committee/friends will bear most of the burden.
There's no hurry, so don't feel you've got to jump now or forever lose your chance. I just want to give as much prior notice as possible, as it's not too early to start making at least preliminary plans.
