What about the use of divination to check potential cult members? Chalana Arroy uses (used? - RQII) to check whether you were really a pacifist and would renounce violence. Given that the candidate must open themselves to the God for this to work, I think that the God *can* know the innermost workings of someone. Whether the God want to tell their priest or other worshippers is another matter! But I think the God knows... especially if the candidate has been a participant in a divination.
