Tom is right! (Three messages back). People have the damage bonus memorized.
Use it for new spirit magic damage if you want a table, people know this
one.
Also don't fix what isn't broken. A different table that gives
practically the same averages is an unnecessary fix. Changing the
whole system to be like Pendragon (or GURPS) would be OK, but why
bother tweaking?
