I can see it. Among other things, it will let people pick and choose
between chunks of new mechanics without sort of sticking them with an
"eat it or leave it" situation. I still think that RQ4 would have been
viable, but even getting the new previous experience, experience and
spirit rules out would be a good contribution to the game, not to mention
the simplified fatigue rules. I'm happy to have that stuff even as RQ3
houserules; the previous experience and fatigue patch two of the biggest
RQ3 holes by themselves, and if we can get a cleaned up sorcery that
doesn't overswing in the other direction, that'll patch the third.
