uhh.. a mace blow takes less than a second. I only rule hits simultaneous
if they're on the same strike rank. Even a blow that's already started
won't hit very hard if there is no follow-through.

In a big melee I often don't track all wounds on NPC's by location,
especially in these cases: 1. Light wound that the NPC will take a round
out to heal. 2. Incapacitating wounds on an opponent with no Healing.
