It does present a problem. I've always use the RQ3 Economics chapter as a
guide (how much does so-and-so "earn" per period) to gauge prices and
"barter values", with liberal portions of borrowed ideas from the old
Pendragon "Nobles' Book" salted throughout (a fief "earns" it's lord both
Food and Goods...both of which COULD be translated into so many Librums
worth of coin in an emergency). Other than that....

I agree. Markets vary wildly from day to day, let alone region to region.
I point to the two different "price lists" in Pendragon as an example.
