  Um, this is real. Oliver used to work in an emergency room. Amputees
really do get up and fight the orderlies.

  As to death -- keep in mind that there *will* be fewer Heal 6 spells,
like only healers and shamans would ordinarily have them. However, also
note that I've said the same to Oliver -- I liked the possibility of
sudden death myself.

  <How to put this, how to put this...> Um, Greg Stafford, who is the
Spirit of Glorantha, doesn't think it violates the Compromise. It's
bought magic, just like Rune Magic. In fact, it's less efficient than
Rune Magic, which is why most people don't like to invoke Divine
Intervention.

  Disease rules are an acknowledged weakness. I haven't seen the Lords
of Terror disease rules, myself. (?)

 Belief in the precognitive powers of an Asian pastry is really no wackier
 than belief in ESP, subluxation, or astrology, but you just don't hear
