Since no one has stepped up to provide the real scoop, I'll suggest some possibiities:
1) The sword has an entirely different Hit Location chart, with an emphasis on the upper area.
2) The sword has a different critical chance (higher, obviously). Under Quest Rules, this would probably be shown as allowing the sword to get an extra success with every successful roll, meaning that a miss is still a miss, but one success becomes two successes, two become three, etc.
3) The sword would have some kind Blade Sharp or blessing on it.
4) I like a universe where magical items just embody magical effects that could be done otherwise, so I now need to figure out how to do those effects with a spell... ;-(

Subject: [RQ-Rules] Sword of Sharpness
Hey gang,
I read a blurb someplace about a Sword of Sharpness for RQ. It'd been in some ancient issue of Wyvern's (Wyrm's?) Footprints, and apparently resurfaced in the not-quite-as-long-OOP Tales of the Reaching Moon #5.
Still lacking a time machine, can someone share the specifics of this thing?
Thanks :)
