My favorite player reaction to the name of an enemy was:

Player: What's his name!?! Isn't that from <moviename>?

Me: Yep.

<Player grins and grabs dice for upcoming combat.>

Player: That was a great movie! That guy really
kicked some serious butt!

<Player stops, looks at me as grin drains away.>
