Stead Builders
I have closed the poll: if anyone has not voted and wishes to join a subgroup, please mail a message to the main group.
We have a good spread of interests: only the songs and poems have a single person (Otto), and this is a topic that will be easier and clearer to work on later, when we have a clearer basic picture of the stead.
We seem to have learnt two things in the first week - that we have a bunch of creative people with lots of good ideas, and that there are a large number of issues to come up - probably more than one person can attend to. The subgroups should allow us to progress fairly quickly.
Can I ask that you contact the other people in your interest group and organise between yourselves how you will work and split responsibilities. You may wish to use private email for the smaller groups: if you use this Stormstead group can I ask that you clearly label your subgroup (upper case headers below) in the heading of each post (OVERVIEW, MAP, RING etc.). There is an understanding that while other list members not in the subgroup may read the posts, they will not comment *at this stage*.

"'Sir, I hear quacking,' he said suddenly. "'Quacking?' "'Quacking, sir.' "Light poured from the display in all colors of the spectrum: anentire task force of bogies somewhere in the vicinity of Beaker Street. They looked at first like garden-variety Scum, Suck, or Shun-class light cruisers, but as the bars shrank and pulsed, the truth became clear: the enemy had dispatched part of Fleet 107 of Mallard light waddlers in our direction.
