Again, just so everyone is in the know, here is a quick breakdown of the major crops and the typical use to which they are put.

RYE: flour, fodder
BARLEY: beer, ale, stews, fodder
OATS: fodder, oatmeal
HAY: fodder
FLAX: linen, oil, canvas, rope 

WHEAT: flour
FRUIT: sweets, wine
HONEY: mead
