ACTUALLY,
As one obtain mastery over the "inner self," a person obtain tremendous powers. However, these are never to be used if one is seeking mystical transcendance.
NOW< a person CAN break from this transcendant climb and use those powers. He won't really know what he has UNTIL he uses them. AND when he does use them, they will manifest as if they are one of the magical systems that are already known. Thus it wil not be a special mystical magic, but rather, magic that is theist, sorcerous, animist or common.
