I think we are in violent agreement here--I just phrased my post
poorly. I meant that a devotee would not hunt large animals most of the time, since he/she could not make proper use of them. However such a hunter, who mostly only supports him/herself and doesn't spend much time in the clan, has only very marginal utility to the clan--almost only in those situations where they need such a specialist to deal with some threat.

Like all devotees, in some way, just that some of them the clan can make use of more regularly.
