Yes, never underestimate the sheer power of a properly cultivated landscape spirit. My understanding is that worship of Helper and Independent Practices is common among Kolatings and other shamans.

And, of course, Kolatings have access to the numerous helper practices of the Vorlan shamanic tradition too. But the Thunderman and his worshippers are a bit west of the Pass to be all that helpful during Fimbulwinter*. =)
