No, I don't think that is the case. Their origin is now part the Storm Tribe. They're subsumed. Doburdun is most definitely not.

Yeah. Just the same way Elmal was proven to be Yelmalio with about the same level of transition. As the person who wrote the underlying heroquest for that - it is important to the Black Oaks when they decide to become the Rakstani a few years after the Dragonraising - I would have to state that this underlying truth has not been created/discovered yet. As such it isn't relevant to the Fimbulwinter, I think. No more than Yelmalio was relevenant to the early Sartarites before Monrough showed up to discover his new/old god.
