Since the Block is a fragment of the original Spike, maybe there are weird prehistoric plants growing on it and nowhere else on Glorantha - remnants of the days of the Celestial Court?

And since it's made of Truestone - solid concentrated Law - perhaps any native Praxian plants that grow on it are, well, not 'mutated' but rather the opposite: returned to their original pure form. Plants whose perpendicular stems and square leaves form abstract geometrical shapes; flowers with a single petal (because more would be wasteful duplication), that sort of thing...

Just some thoughts!
