Trollball and the Hawk gang

While Dolxx was doing his duties against his cult and spending most of his time at training Orlanthis, the others of A-TEAM noticed one morning, a couple of weeks after Lord Skyppen was finally killed, that there was very much noise outside the A-TEAM Inn. The rest went to outside and asked what is this all about? It was time for the yearly trollball tournament, which A-TEAM had been unaware of. Immediately it was decided that next year would the A-TEAM also have a team fighting for their honour. This year there were four teams participating in the tournament. One from the Rubble, one from the peasants surrounding Pavis, one from New Pavis and one from Lunar. Last year the tournament had been won by the Rubble team.

Kaid-aw, Raven and Axjack decided to go and watch the games, Kaid-aw supporting the New Pavis team, Raven the Rubble team and Axjack the peasant team. On the way to the playgrounds they noticed that people had banners for their team, and Raven wanted also to have one such for the Rubble. He took the first Rubble banner he saw from the nearest man. The man was not happy about this and he and his eleven friends wanted to have back their banner, but Raven just ignored the man. The man made a huge mistake and tried to hit Raven with his hand. Raven got mad and kicked back, crushing the mans leg. Kaid-aw healed the leg, otherwise he would have bled to death very soon. It was such fast action, that nobody had noticed nearby what had happened and therefore Kaid-aw, Axjack and Raven with his banner could continue to the playground.

At the field there were about 1000 people watching the matches. Kaid-aw immediately understood the business and sent for a cart filled with beer to the place to be sold to the spectators. One Humakt guard and one man selling the beer came quite soon and started the selling of beer. The organisers had hired fourteen Humakti guards to keep order in the area. Kaid-aw, Raven and Axjack got seats in the stand with mostly New Pavisites and Lunars, while the supporters for Rubble and Peasant teams were standing around the playground.

Before the games started there was some music and entertainment on the field. Kaid-aw felt generous and gave the entertainers some money, while Raven gave some bread (he had reserved a barrel of beer and some bread for snacks during the matches). Bor-Eel wanted also to talk to the audience, but after speaking just for three minutes, Raven threw a piece of bread against him, but missed, and Bor-Eels security guards moved closer him to save him from other such attacks.

After the first round of matches, the situation was the following:

The Final would be once again between Lunar and Rubble teams. This time the Lunars used a surprise in the final. They had imported five pro's from the imperial trollball league and not used them in the first rounds at all. With these five pro's Lunar won the final.

When the final game was over, Kaid-aw, Raven and Axjack noticed that a small uprising had started in the cheaper stands and that people had attacked A-Team's beer-cart. They rushed immediately to the assistance to save the cart and the money from the beer. Kaid-aw made his way by giving subdual damage to all opposing his way, while Raven used his maul normally. one man got his arm crushed and started bleeding. After this Raven got free passage to the cart. Axjack, who couldn't wear any arms as he wasn't a master in arms, tried to make his way by using his fists, but couldn't get forward in the rush. When Raven came as the first one to the cart a man tried to rob beer and Raven crushed his abdom and his kick crushed his arm killing the man. When people saw the angry DeathLord with his maul ready for the next victim, the people around the cart backed away. Soon Kaid-aw also arrived to the cart. Our Humakt guard was beaten but alive.

Kaid-aw and Raven saw a group of hooligans, who had taken a barrel from the cart and was drinking the beer. Kaid-aw and Raven rushed towards the hooligans, but the fled away. The barrel was got back to the cart. Meanwhile Axjack had returned to the seats and was drinking beer and showing his disrespect to Lunars passing him, who were celebrating their victory in the tournament. Soon the Humakti guards got the situation under control and everybody could return back home.

When the A-TEAM arrived to their Inn, there was a fight going on. A group of bandits had tried to attack the Inn by using torches and burning arrows. Our Humakti guards had still been able to keep the bandits outside and Kaid-aw immediately cast a Mobility 4 on them and Kaid-aw, Raven and Axjack charged the bandits. There were six bandits with a "Hawk" tattoo attacking the Inn from the front. Three rounds later three of the were dead (two by Raven and one by Axjack) and the three others captured. This cooled down the situation in front, but the fight continued behind the Inn. Kaid-aw went on one side and Raven with Axjack on the other side around the Inn. Behind were also six bandits, but they had snake tattoos on them. Soon four were killed and two captured. Raven killed again most, three while Axjack killed the fourth. Kaid-aw healed his enemies to keep them alive to get information from the captives. All the five captives were taken to the prisons in the cellar.

The five captives were to be interrogated by Raven, Kaid-aw and Axjack. The first prisoner wore a hawk tattoo. He was asked to go down on his knees, but he refused. Raven got mad about such insubordinate behaviour and crushed his chest with a single kick. Kaid-aw healed a little the man and told Raven not to kill the captives until they had told their employer. The man was thrown back into the prison.

The second prisoner wore also a hawk tattoo. He was asked to go down on his knees, but also he refused. Raven got again mad about such insubordinate behaviour and crushed his chest with his kick. Kaid-aw healed a little the man and told Raven not to kill the captives until they had told their employer. The man was thrown back into the prison.

The third prisoner was the first with a snake tattoo. He was also asked to go down on his knees, but as expected he refused. This time Raven kicked him in his leg and the man fell down. Then Raven took his thumbscrews and started to torture the man. After a while the man broke and told about their gang and promised to repair the damage they had made on the Inn.

The fourth prisoner had a snake tattoo. He was also asked to go down on his knees, but also he refused. Raven kicked him in his leg and the man fell down. Then Raven took his thumbscrews and started to torture the man. After a while the man broke and told about their gang and promised to repair the damage they had made on the Inn.

The fifth and last prisoner wore a hawk tattoo. He was also asked to go down on his knees, but he refused. Again Raven kicked him in his leg and the man fell down. After he had fallen down he spit on Raven. Raven took once again his thumbscrews and started to torture the man. Raven crushed eventually one thumb, but the man tried to show how tough he was and tried to bite away his thumb. He couldn't do it, but Raven did it and ate the thumb. The man fainted for a while and went mad and no information could be got out of him.

After the first round of interviews, the first and second captives was to be taken to a second interview, this time a little tougher than the previous.

The prisoner with the hawk tattoo was taken again first in. He was asked to go down on his knees, but again he refused. Raven kicked him in his leg and the man fell down. Then Raven took his thumbscrews and started to torture the man. After a while the man broke, but no useful information was got from him.

The second prisoner was taken in and was again asked to go down on his knees, but once again he refused. Raven kicked as usual him in his leg and the man fell down. Then Raven took his thumbscrews and started to torture the man. After a while the man broke and told about their gang and promised to repair the damage they had made on the Inn.

After all men had broken under the torture, a supper was taken and they went to sleep. The next morning at 8 o'clock the Humakt guard chief woke up Raven and said some Lunars wanted to talk to him. Raven told that he might get up a couple of hours later and told the guard to send the men away. The guard woke up Axjack and told there are five Lunar men with 25 soldiers in the yard. The Lunars wanted to have Raven, but Raven had just ignored him. Axjack went to Kaid-aw with the guard. Kaid-aw went down and talked to the Lunars and asked what is their business. It took some talking to get the Lunars to wait while Kaid-aw went and fetched Raven. It took Kaid-aw half an hour to get Raven up, but he finally came up to talk to the Lunars. The Lunars said Raven was urgently needed at a meeting in New Pavis and they were to escort him there. Raven wanted to get properly dressed and have some breakfast. The Lunars didn't like it, but had no other choice but to wait until Raven was ready.

When Raven came to New Pavis, he was taken to trial for murdering the man at the beer cart at the tournament. The judge asked if Raven had anything to say or did he regret killing the man, but Raven just said "I don't care about such slime as he". The judge got mad and sentenced Raven to three weeks of prison and a fine of 500L. After three weeks the case would be up again.

In the prison Raven bribed the guards with 200L to get a cell of his own and good food, wine and beer. Later Raven bribed the guards with 500L and got a leave for four days away from the prison. During his time in prison the Inn had been fixed. While Raven was at the Inn during his leave a meeting was held with the A-TEAM and the Hawk gang. The A-TEAM made an offer to the hawk gang of them getting an official A-TEAM "hang-around" member status and they got the permission to live in A-TEAM county, but they had to behave themselves and keep order in the area. After some talks the hawk gang agreed and became a new militia of the A-TEAM. The hawk gang consisted of seven ex-adventurers, who had chosen to stay in the Rubble.

Ravens three weeks of imprisonment went nicely and he was taken to a new trial. This time Kaid-aw was Ravens lawyer and took the following facts to his defence:

1. A-Team's beercart was attacked by a mob and Raven only protected his property.

2. Raven was very sad that he had caused the death of somebody.
The judge asked Raven if this was the case and Raven mumbled something which could be interpreted as a yes.

The judge took into consideration these extenuating circumstances and as Raven regretted he sentenced Raven to 20 days of charital service. Ravens charital service was to help at a retired home every day from 8 o'clock to dusk. Raven and Kaid-aw went and met the supervisor at the retired home. The supervisor told Raven to be there at 8 in the morning, to which Raven put a pouch with 500L on the desk. The supervisor grabbed the pouch and Raven never came back to the place.

The Chaos Gaggle appeared on the way to the first sign of the coming Hero Wars, a staterment from the Giants.
Lord Skyppen made a BIG mistake annoying the A-TEAM and had to pay for it with his life!
